Example quote: a two-car garage floor

A full flake floor on a two-car garage, priced the way it is actually built -- six lines, not one rate.

An example, not a price list. The customer is invented. Every rate above is a row from the price book a new epoxy garage floor account is seeded with, and the first thing you would do in the app is replace them with yours -- which is why the total is a shape to compare against, not a quote for your job.

Where the quantities come from

The garage is 24 by 22, which is 528 square feet of floor and 92 linear feet of wall line. Those are two different measurements doing two different jobs: the coating is priced on the first, the cove base on the second. A quote that multiplies one number by one rate has already lost the cove base, and cove base on this job is worth more than the flake.

Why the trip charge is a line and not a rounding

Getting the crew, the grinder and the extraction to site costs the same whether the floor is 528 square feet or 2,400. On a garage it is nearly a dollar a square foot of the number; on the warehouse example it disappears. That is the whole reason small jobs cost more per foot, and a customer who sees the line asks a better question than one who sees a higher rate.

What the customer actually does with this

They open it on a phone, read the lines, tick the optional ones if there are any, and sign it with a finger. The total at the bottom changes as they tick. Nothing is emailed back and forth, and nothing is retyped.
