Epoxy floor cost calculator
Put in the room. The lines below are the ones a coating quote is actually made of, priced off the floor and the perimeter separately.
Nothing is sent anywhere: the arithmetic runs in this page. The prefilled rates are the ones a new Drawlite account in this trade starts with, and the first thing you would do in the app is replace them with yours.
What a square foot of epoxy has to pay for
A coating quote is four or five lines, and only one of them is the coating. The grind comes first and decides whether the floor is still bonded in five years; the base coat is the one everybody prices; the flake and the top coat are what the customer is actually looking at. Pricing the job as one number per square foot works right up to the first garage with a drain in it.
The line most garage quotes leave off
Cove base runs around the edge of the room, so it is priced per linear foot off the perimeter, not off the area. A 24 by 22 garage is 528 square feet and 92 feet of perimeter: at the seeded rates that is one line worth more than the flake broadcast, and it is the line that gets forgotten because it is not part of the floor you were looking at.
Trip charge, once per visit
Mobilisation is charged once whether the floor is 400 square feet or 4,000, which is why a small garage costs more per square foot than a warehouse bay and why quoting two small jobs as one visit is worth doing.
