Labour hours calculator

How long the job takes, from the rate you already know in your head.

Nothing is sent anywhere: the arithmetic runs in this page. The prefilled rates are the ones a new Drawlite account in this trade starts with, and the first thing you would do in the app is replace them with yours.

A production rate is how a price book knows about time

Every line in the seeded book carries one: the diamond grind runs at 150 square feet an hour, the two-coat wall finish at 160, stripping an old floor at 220. That single number is what turns an area into a day on the calendar, and it is the thing an estimator learns in their first year and never writes down.

Crew hours and elapsed hours are different questions

Eight crew hours is one day for one person and half a day for two -- but only for the parts of the job that can be worked on by two people at once. Coatings mostly cannot: the cure between coats is elapsed time that no amount of crew shortens, which is why a one-day garage is a two-day booking.

The hourly figure is yours

What an hour costs you is burdened labour, not a wage: payroll taxes, insurance, the truck, the time between jobs. Nothing is prefilled here that pretends to know it.
