Kitchen cabinet cost calculator

Measure the runs in feet and the tops in square feet. They are two different numbers and the quote needs both.

Nothing is sent anywhere: the arithmetic runs in this page. The prefilled rates are the ones a new Drawlite account in this trade starts with, and the first thing you would do in the app is replace them with yours.

Two measurements, one kitchen

Cabinet runs are sold by the linear foot and countertops by the square foot, and they are not derivable from each other: a galley with twenty-six feet of base and no island has far less top than an L with an island and the same footage. Quoting a kitchen as one rate per foot works until the first island, and then it is wrong by a slab.

Quartz is bought by the slab, not by the foot

The seeded top is 78 a square foot installed, and the slab behind it is 52 square feet at 1950. Forty-eight feet of top does not cost eight-tenths of a slab -- it costs a slab, and a kitchen that lands at fifty-three feet costs two. The 8% waste factor on that row exists for exactly this.

The lines that are not cabinets

Tear-out is priced on the run coming out, install on the run going in, toe kick and filler on everything that meets a floor or a wall. None of them belongs in the cabinet rate, and all of them are on the invoice whether or not they were on the quote.
