An example, not a price list. The customer is invented. Every rate above is a row from the price book a new vinyl plank flooring account is seeded with, and the first thing you would do in the app is replace them with yours -- which is why the total is a shape to compare against, not a quote for your job.
The area you lay is not the area you buy
420 square feet of floor is ordered as 454, because cuts at the walls and the piece left at the end of a run are the difference between the room and the pallet -- and then it is rounded up to whole cartons, since that is how it is sold. The waste calculator does that arithmetic; this quote is what it looks like priced.
Underlayment is not an upsell
A slab on grade releases moisture for years. Laying a floating floor over it with no vapour barrier voids the manufacturer's warranty, and the owner finds out when the boards cup -- which is to say, finds out that it is your problem. Drawlite flags a floor covering quote that has preparation and no underlayment.
And the old floor has to go somewhere
Lifting it is one line, the tip is another. Carpet out of a room this size fills a truck.
